The Cheriyal craft is a popular and modified version of the Nakashi art, considered highly rich in the local motifs. A GI tagged art form, this is mostly confined to the Cheriyal village of Telangana. The craft was conventionally used as a visual aid for performing ballads and dances through the masks and paintings.
Made from eco-friendly products like tamarind seed powder, sawdust, wood and khadi cloth, this product sourced locally from one of the last three families – who are the custodians of the craft.
A true work of art. Don’t miss it. Add color, stories and legacies to your walls.
Note:Each mask is approximately 3-4 inches in height.
